Description : We are looking for a talented Apprentice - Engine Workshop Technician to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business Segment in Grootegeluk Mine, Lephalale, South Africa.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

• Support Workshop Operations : By assisting with general workshop activities, you’ll help ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Order : Your efforts in cleaning, inspecting, and disassembling will contribute to a safe and organized work environment.
• Master Repair Techniques : Learning Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and following procedures will enable you to perform basic repairs and maintenance effectively.
• Accurate Documentation : Assisting with documentation, such as work completed forms and time sheets, will ensure accurate record-keeping and data management.
• Skill Development : Completing training aligned with skill and business requirements will enhance your capabilities and value to the team.
• Tool and Equipment Care : Maintaining cleanliness and proper operation of tools will prolong their lifespan and ensure they are always ready for use.
• Health and Safety Compliance : Adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures will help maintain a safe workplace and prevent incidents.
• Proactive Reporting : Reporting any issues or incidents to your supervisor will contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving within the workshop.
