You will be joining Sakata’s local Customer Services team that focuses on providing quality customer services. You will follow the requirements defined by the Customer Services Department in conjunction with the greater Sakata local group.
What will you do?
- Opening and maintaining customer accounts.
- Coordinating, processing and confirming sales orders.
- Providing proformas, stock availability and delivery information.
- Following up on deliveries daily.
- Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Building sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
- Handling complaints according to the Quality Management System.
- Keeping internal and external customers appraised of product availability and lead times.
- Assisting walk‑in customers with orders.
- Processing card and EFT payments.
- Directing queries to the relevant Product Specialist / Department.
- Coordinating sales transactions from order placement to delivery.
- Following up on back orders and regularly communicating progress.
- Liaising with the Financial Department regarding payments and account standings.
Where will you work?
You will be based in Lanseria, just west of Johannesburg. You will be joining a dynamic, multicultural team.
Do you fit this profile?
You have :
A tertiary qualification (Degree / Diploma) in a related discipline or 10 years’ experience as a Sales Coordinator.Bilingual, Afrikaans and English minimum.Working knowledge of an ERP system.Customer‑oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and under pressure.A valid driver’s licence.You are :
Able to work under pressure.Professional.Confident.Analytical.Able to work within deadlines, with good personal time management.A team player who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate within the team and with other departments.Do you want to know more about the company?
