RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic team in Ottery, Cape Town.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and accurate order fulfilment
- Track and follow up on outstanding orders and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
- Prepare documentation, reports, and proposals to support procurement decisions
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Assist in identifying cost‑saving opportunities and improving procurement processes
- Ensure data accuracy in raw material specifications, purchase orders, and records
- Support the supply chain team with administrative tasks and coordination as required
Qualifications
Matric certificate is essentialCertificate or diploma in Business Administration is highly advantageous3–5 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration is essentialProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is requiredExperience working with Syspro or similar ERP systems is advantageousExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong administrative, organisational, and time‑management skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insightsProactive approach with a strong work ethic and commitment to qualityBenefits
