Minimum Requirements :
Accounting Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualificationMFMA Certification3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environmentCore Responsibilities :
Functional planning of the cash management and bank reconciliation sub section to ensure accurate, up to date and reconciled cashbook and bank accountsManage investments and cash flow processes to adhere to reporting requirementsEnsure accurate and up to date expenditure account reconciliationMonitor and report on special payments, land guarantees, forex and travel cardsTransfer of funds between City's bank accounts to ensure that internal cash requirements are metAnalyse and investigate deviations on cash management reports and report to Senior Manager Cash ManagementEnsure financial administration processes comply with internal control and governance standards and report on any deviationsOrganise sub section to maintain the infrastructure needed to produce the required financial accountabilityAttend to auditor's information requests and queries for the sub sectionScrutinize financial indicators report on bank reconciliations and submit to Senior ManagerCompile summaries and other reports to Senior Manager Cash ManagementAccounting / Financial Services jobs
