We are looking for a motivated Crypto Trader to support trading operations across Pan-African markets. The role is crypto-focused (spot, derivatives, DeFi) but ideal for candidates with a foundation in traditional finance especially FX, local currency bonds, or rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing crypto trading strategies across spots, derivatives, and DeFi markets
- Conduct macroeconomic, credit, and political risk research to support trading decisions in Pan-African markets
- Execute and monitor trades efficiently while managing portfolio risk, including sovereign credit, FX convertibility, and political event risk
- Track and optimize portfolio performance under senior trader guidance
- Collaborate with senior traders and analysts to refine strategies and share market insights
- Contribute to analytics and dashboards for crypto trade monitoring and Pan-African market insights
- Stay updated on blockchain trends, DeFi innovations, and regulatory developments affecting African crypto markets
- Prepare regular reports on trading performance, market conditions, and strategy adjustments
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in crypto trading (spot, derivatives, DeFi) or traditional finance (FX, bonds, rates)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related is preferredFamiliarity with Pan-African markets and cross-border flows is preferredAnalytical and quantitative mindset; proficiency in Excel or Python for data analysis preferredSelf-starter, disciplined, and eager to learn in a fast-paced crypto trading environmentWhat We Offer
