Financial Controller (Remote, EST hours required)
This is a unique role for a detail-oriented yet strategic financial professional who wants to help shape the financial infrastructure of multiple growing companies. You’ll own the accounting processes across the group, ensure accurate financial reporting, and implement automation tools to improve efficiency and insight. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely month‑end closes and intercompany reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external accounting firms to ensure compliance and accuracy of all filings.
- Prepare and consolidate weekly and monthly financial statements across the group.
- Track performance against profitability and cash flow targets.
- Provide variance analysis, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
- Build and maintain dashboards for real‑time financial visibility.
Automation & Process Improvement
Implement and optimize accounting automations (QuickBooks Online, Dext, Shopify, etc.).Develop more efficient workflows for accounts payable, receivable, and expense tracking.Identify and roll out tools that reduce manual entry and improve accuracy.Strategic & Operational Partnership
Challenge assumptions and support financial decision‑making with solid analysis.Help define KPIs and reporting structures for different business units.Support budgeting and forecasting cycles.Assist with project‑ or product‑level profitability tracking.Who You Are
