Profile Summary : At HID as part of the Physical Access Control Systems business unit we produce cutting-edge security products. The PACS business is highly visible and one of our most significant portfolios within HID Global. The PACS products include smart cards, mobile access and identifications software, services and controllers for physical access control. You would be joining as a firmware engineer where you will get to work with the teams in a Scaled Agile environment. The primary focus of this role is the development of the Biometrics product line. You will be working in an embedded Linux environment implementing secure and performant applications.

At HID you will work as part of a team to deliver high quality features and products to our customers. You will be involved in secure software development and have input on how best to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with other teams to ensure successful delivery of products.
• Participate in security reviews with the team helping to identify problem areas.
• Assist in finding solutions to the identified problems.
• Participate in preparing, reviewing and completing project documentation.
• Writing good, maintainable code.
• Work on setting up and maintaining devops pipelines.
• Help with identifying and rectifying security related issues.
