The Role :
To create and maintain a vital link between the customer and Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions at Strategic decision-making level. Responsible to build and maintain good customer relationships. Responsible for the profit and loss.Main Responsibilities
Lead workshop business growthDevelop the workshop team in the areas of control to meet and exceed customer satisfactionImplement quality control process and standardsDevelop and / or implement a workshop strategyDevelop and manage budgets, striving for a cost-effective operations without compromising safety or qualityIdentifying, analyzing, and driving resolution of customer issues (warranty and non-warranty) with account managementManage rebuilds and repairs operations to meet the contract target costsExecuting workshop activity to cost, utilization, quality and cycle time targetsCollaborate internally with key stakeholdersManage a team of workshop managersCollaborate with customers to understand their needs and expectationsProvide timely updates on rebuild / repairs progress and communicate any deviations from scopeEffective Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocationSchedule and prioritize repair and rebuild projects to meet targetsMaintain a well-organized, clean and safe working environmentImplement and enforce EHS best practicesEnsure equipment performance meets or exceeds contractual obligationsSet up and manage workshop operations to meet KPIsDevelop a workshop operations strategy in conjunction with key stakeholdersResponsible for evaluating competitor activities and conducting relevant market research that enables the workshop to maintain market competitiveness.Responsible to drive localizationCost Effectiveness

National Diploma or Degree in Mining / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Business qualificationMasters in Business Administration (MBA) (advantageous)Proven experience in workshop management within the mining industryStrong leadership skillsAbility to analyse data, make data driven decisions and manage budgets effectivelyComputer literacy (including relevant programs)Knowledge of Sandvik Databases (desirable)Equipment manufacturing experience (desirable)Experience
