To lead, inspire, coach and develop a team of Beauty Consultants to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets in a fast paced retail environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational, authentic and personalised customer service
- Business planning and setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling
- Manage stock levels, facilities and cash reconciliation
- Lead a team to achieve sales and service targets
- Create and execute in store events
- Work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in fast paced retail environment
- Ensure shop keeping disciplines are continuously in place by adhering to Operation manuals and display maintenance principles
- Operate retail point of sale software
- Minimise shrinkage in line with store targets
- Minimize tester waste and shrinkage
- Management of self, appearance and standards
- Deliver a sound knowledge of products
- Create the appropriate ambience in department through maintaining standards.
- Ensure staff delivers consistent, excellent customer service in accordance with the Brands standards across Stores / Counters.
- Resolve customer issues and requests in an efficient and quick manner.
- Responsible for achieving targets across the various brands.
- Set the example by achieving your own individual targets through great customer service.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere geared to achieving sales and profit goals (brands where applicable)
- Analyze and review goal attainment and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Follow and implement all corporate visual presentation standards and guidelines.
- Oversee all planning details for events.
- Maintain a cohesive, cooperative work environment through team building and motivation.
- Hold regular and productive staff meetings as required.
- Administer all training programs for selling skills, customer service, products and operations as required / and in partnership with Education as required.
- Conduct monthly coaching sessions to communicate objectives, set goals and follow up on progress according to the company’s business programs.
- Ensure staff is trained in service and make up skills (where applicable) as established by the Company.
- Manage late coming, absence and / or any other ER related issues together with the department manager.
- To ensure all ELC rosters are completed in line with the company’s policy and procedures.
- Manage leave request.
- Detail checking of stock.
- Ordering of stock – capacity reports.
- Able to process IBT RTV.
- Red Flag sign off – (instore training)
- Prep and Manage stock-take process.
- Be available and flexible to work different shifts
Qualifications
Experience in managing a team for a Beauty Counter / Beauty Department / Beauty Shop would be advantageousDepth of knowledge of luxury beauty brandsProfessional certification, e.g. make‑up certification and Grade 12Have relevant experience and skillsPassion for retail and selling“Living the Brand” – personal leadership and attitude to workPassion for Customer - establish lifelong relationships with our customersAttention to detail / accuracyAble to lead a teamProblem solving abilityAction and results drivenStore Locations
