Role Purpose
Responsible for the coordinating the evaluation of the claims oversight and monitoring within the Technical Claims team and other stakeholders to ensure that all technical support functions are executed timely and in accurate manner. To support Technical Claims executive and Technical Claims Specialist with monitoring and tracking the progress of all allocated tasks and responsibilities. To ensure compliance and implementation of policies and procedures, organise and plan team projects to meet deadlines.Requirements
MatricComputer Literacy(MS Word, Outlook and Excel)Comfortable with Insurance SystemsLegal Qualification / Relevant qualificationAt least 1 year in a technical claims environmentIntensive knowledge of insurance productsDuties & Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Technical Claims TeamDealing with customer and stakeholder enquiries, monitoring the progress of execution and ensuring that all claims are dealt with swiftly and efficientlyEnsuring that OSTI / Arbitration and representations are dealt with swiftly and efficientlyKeeping the team up to date with any process changesLiaising with external parties, to ensure that the team has the necessary information to make informed decisions about any claimsAssisting with the day -to – day management of the claims oversight and monitoring, ensuring that it is as efficient as possibleEnsuring that all documentation is collected, and the customer levels and SLAs are maintainedOrganise and manage the processes within the teamAnalyse claims data and trendsMonitor and manage the team’s delivery and executionAbility to effectively communicate via phone and emailDuties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely mannerPlanning and accomplishment of goals with a degree of creativity and latitudeProvide support to the Technical Claims SpecialistTake dictation and accurate minutes of meetingsGenerate reports and handle multiple projectsDevelop administrative staff by providing information and oversee / supervise the work of junior staffContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results neededCarry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying etcWrite letters and emails on behalf Technical claims specialistMaintain computer and manual filing system and co-ordinate office proceduresDevelop and update administrative systems to make them more efficientResolve administrative problems, receive, sort and distribute emails and manage team appointmentsCompetencies
