Intermediate Data Scientist

Job Description

We are looking for an innovative individual to join the Insights team who is passionate about unlocking the value in data. This team defines the data usage across Forex and drives decision making by providing data‑driven insights into customers and critical business activities. The role involves planning, building, optimising and implementing innovative quantitative analytical methodologies, procedures, products and advanced mathematical models that provide analytical support, interpret insights, address business opportunities and problems, and implement business strategy with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business to translate business needs into data‑driven solutions.
• Develop and implement analytical solutions ranging from simple analysis to more complex solutions.
• Develop machine learning models and perform analytics for the various segments in FXPH.
• Generate reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain end‑to‑end forex predictive models.
• Monitor analytic solutions / model performance over time and use feedback to improve results.
• Collaborate within FX and across the FRG to share and leverage data and analytics solutions.
• Use data to inform strategic decisions that could increase revenue or reduce costs.
• Use data and analytics to enhance the customer experience and identify monetization opportunities.
• Analyze data and use visualization tools to develop user‑friendly interactive views for stakeholders that provide customer insights.
• Extract, clean, and integrate data from a variety of sources.
• Develop ETL processes.
• Streamline and optimise processes.
• Document processes and analytical solutions.
• Provide ad hoc data and analytics support for day‑to‑day operations.
