Completed accounting articles. Graduate in accounting or auditing. The role is based in Fish Hoek (Cape Town), and the candidate must currently reside in the area or nearby. Working hours are 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Local candidates are preferred for this role.
Our client is looking for an Audit and Accounting Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and auditing, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently on various financial tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Preparation of financial statements using CaseWare.
- Conducting audits and independent reviews with minimal supervision.
- Performing accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Managing eFiling processes and maintaining compliance with tax regulations.
- Utilizing accounting software such as Pastel, XERO, and CaseWare efficiently.
- Collaborating with team members and providing accurate reports as required.
