Job descriptionGrade 12 is essential Electrical or Mechanical trade certificate (red seal) Minimum 5 years demonstrated Supervisory experience Supervisory certificate Maintenance Management Certificate Code EB Driver’s licence Experience with the maintenance and operation of chemical plants Legal / Operational compliance knowledge Medically fit in terms of Mine Health and Safety Act Must be able to work independently or in a team environment Computer literate – MS Office (excel, word, outlook, etc) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Maintenance and reliable operation of all assigned infrastructure, machinery and plants Managing and developing the Glenover Maintenance Team Coordinating maintenance activities and personnel Liaising with the Glenover Management Team Supplier Management & Liaison Operating & administering the Glenover Computerised Maintenance System Mentor apprentices Pro-actively support and participate in safety, health and environmental initiatives Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the workplace Manage and maintain tools Work overtime when required, provided such a requirement is reasonable and within the law Ensure safe work practices and compliance with all SHE and MHS legislation Maintain a well disciplined and productive working environment Engineering / Technical jobs
