To support this growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our day-to-day business operations in Bloemfontein.Job SummaryAs the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of MCM Bloemfontein's operations.

Your role will involve overseeing logistics, warehouse management, service operations, customer service, and team leadership to ensure smooth business processes and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with senior management to implement strategic goals and maintain operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesBranch Operations ManagementOversee the day-to-day operations of the Bloemfontein branch, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operational activities.Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.Coordinate with the head office to align branch operations with company goals.Logistics & Inventory ControlManage stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for machine and parts inventory.Oversee incoming shipments, storage, and dispatch of equipment and spare parts.Work with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective supply chain management.Service & After-Sales SupportOversee the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process to ensure machinery meets MCM's quality standards before delivery.Supervise the service team to provide maintenance and technical support for customers.Handle customer complaints and ensure effective problem resolution.Team Leadership & Staff DevelopmentLead and manage branch employees, including warehouse, service, and administrative staff.Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.Foster a positive work environment and ensure staff adhere to company values and culture.Customer Service & Relationship ManagementEnsure excellent customer service by maintaining strong relationships with clients and responding to their needs.Assist in sales support by providing operational insights and ensuring smooth order fulfillment.Work closely with the sales and marketing team to enhance customer experience.Financial & Performance ManagementManage the branch's operational budget, optimizing costs and resource allocation.Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency.Prepare and submit regular operational reports to senior management.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management.Experience in the construction, agricultural, or heavy machinery industry is highly advantageous.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in inventory management systems and operational software.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Opportunity to be part of MCM's expansion and grow with the company.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Career growth and professional development opportunities.How to ApplyInterested candidates can send their CV and cover letter to
