Role Summary
The main responsibility of this role is to promote and sell new Scania vehicles and services within a designated region (KZN). This is achieved by focusing on end customer contact, building relationships, preparing quotations that fulfil their demands, and follow through to delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for the promotion and selling of new Scania vehicles and services within the designated region (KZN), developing the sales network and upholding a positive brand image and Scania Values.
Job Responsibilities
- To effectively market & sell (new) Scania trucks in a professional capacity by establishing new business relationships & maintaining relationships with existing clientele as well as our new truck sales team regionally to meet all targets.
- To effectively build our brand by adhering to the company’s quality policy, protocols & systems
- This role includes travel to Scania dealerships, existing and new customers within the allocated region (KZN region)
- Assisting with customer queries whilst maintain & improving customer satisfaction
- Cold calling / hunting for potential new clients
- Reporting activities & leads daily, completing weekly sales reports & forecasting
- Respond to enquiries and follow up
- Be a team player and assist the team
- Attend meetings as and when required
- Qualifying customers & leads, go getter with a good understanding of customer needs, and able to build good rapport with customers.
- Attending to phone calls, messages, emails punctually
- Customer meetings including introduction & familiarisation of the FIT tool
- Uphold and maintain professionalism and positive representation of the Company Brand and Values.
Applicant Must Meet These Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) + MathsPreferably (Sales / Marketing related qualification)3 to 5 years’ experience as a Sales Executive – Automotive industry (preferably Trucks)Commercial sales advantageousDriver’s LicenceSales Track RecordMust be located in DurbanCompetencies – these will be tested in the interview should you be shortlisted
