Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for an engineer with proven experience in delivering E&I solutions across complex projects, ensuring compliance, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute to project execution from concept through to commissioning, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and implementation of E&I systems for industrial projects.

Prepare and review detailed engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Support project planning, cost estimation, and procurement of E&I equipment and materials.

Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of E&I installations.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during design, installation, and operational phases.

Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the E&I engineering function.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation design and engineering.

Strong knowledge of applicable engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in engineering software and design tools relevant to E&I systems.

Experience in project execution, including testing and commissioning of E&I systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
