Job Description
What Youll Do
- Manage and grow portfolios with key insurers
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with insurer partners and stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio performance, analyse trends, and implement targeted action plans to drive profitability
- Prepare and manage financial and management reports, ensuring accurate data for decision-making
- Oversee underwriting policies and claims processes in collaboration with insurer partners
- Ensure smooth monthly operations including reconciliations, payments, and reporting cycles
- Support and develop the service advisor team, fostering a culture of motivation, accountability, and service excellence
- Participate in planning meetings, strategic meetings, and product improvement initiatives
- Identify operational gaps and work with internal systems to improve efficiency
- Train and mentor claims and underwriting consultants
What You Bring
5+ years experience in short-term insurance portfolio or account managementHigher Certificate in Short-term Insurance (NQF 5)Strong analytical, financial, and reporting skillsExcellent relationship-building and negotiation abilityProven communication skills in Afrikaans and EnglishKnowledge in insurance systemsRelevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or Insurance (advantageous)FAIS-compliant and RE5 certified preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
