Java Developer

PBT Group is looking for a Lead Java Developer to design and build innovative, sustainable, and bespoke software solutions. If you’re passionate about cutting-edge tech, driving value, and shaping the future of applications, this role is for you!

What you’ll do :

Lead solution design and development across front-end and back-end systems.

Engage with business and tech stakeholders to align on strategic roadmaps.

Drive coding, testing , and handover of robust, secure applications.

Collaborate across teams to spot new opportunities and deliver improvements.

Champion Agile / DevOps practices and mentor the team in best practices.

What you bring :

5+ years Java development experience.

Strong SQL and full-stack skills ( Java , Spring Boot, Angular, NodeJS, Docker, Microservices).

Experience with tools like Kafka, Maven, TeamCity, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat.

Familiarity with banking / financial services domain (advantageous).

Problem-solving mindset, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Relevant Tech / Engineering / Science degree.
