About the Role
A growing U.S.-based property management firm is hiring 2 Maintenance Coordinators to support its expanding portfolio of residential properties. This is a long-term, full-time remote role with a U.S. company that values proactive communication, reliability, and critical thinking.
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for tenants reporting maintenance issues. You’ll triage, prioritize, and assign work orders through platforms like AppFolio and Property Meld — ensuring that repairs are handled quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and owners in a timely and professional manner
- Triage and prioritize work orders based on urgency and severity
- Dispatch service vendors or in-house technicians
- Communicate with residents and vendors to follow up on repairs and completion timelines
- Use AppFolio and Property Meld to manage and track maintenance issues
- Document all communications and status updates within the system
- Support the property management team with reporting and vendor coordination
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a Maintenance Coordinator or similar role within property managementExcellent written and spoken EnglishStrong customer service orientation — calm, friendly, and solutions-focused under pressureDetail-oriented and organized — able to juggle multiple requests and prioritiesCritical thinker — able to assess maintenance requests and determine the best course of actionFamiliarity with urgency ranking of maintenance issues (e.g., emergency vs. routine)Proficient in AppFolio and Property Meld (strongly preferred)Able to work full-time during U.S. business hours (CST / EST overlap)Bonus
