About the Role

This newly created role marks a critical step in evolving the finance function beyond transactional excellence into strategic business partnering. As Head of FP&A, you’ll establish the frameworks, insights and processes that help leadership understand profitability, cost of sales, and operational performance — across staff and subcontractors.

Working closely with the CFO and executive team, you’ll bring structure and insight to a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business environment. The role suits a hands-on finance professional who is as comfortable building models as they are influencing strategic decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting functions.
• Analyse revenue, cost of sales, and profitability across customer, regional and product segments.
• Partner with operations and sales to improve margin performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
• Establish forecasting models and performance tracking processes.
• Drive the creation of a value-based financial culture within the business.
• Present insights and recommendations to executive and board stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CA(SA) advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years’ FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Strong analytical, modelling and presentation skills.
• Experience in logistics, courier or high-volume operational environments an advantage.
• Proficiency in BI and reporting tools.
