Implement and support the rollout of new company policies and HR initiativesAct as an HR consultant to management and staff on policies, procedures, and compliance mattersAddress employee queries on matters related to compensation, labour legislation, and other HR-related issuesSupport business units and operations with HR-related problem-solving, conflict resolution, and project implementationMonitor and inspect compliance with labour laws and HR standards across the organizationPromote effective communication and collaboration between operational teams and Head Office HR functionsPreferred Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills
- Law Degree, with specialization in Labour Law
- Alternatively, a B.Com Degree with a focus in Human Resources , with strong Labour Law knowledge
- An Honours Degree or higher-level qualification will be considered an advantage
- Proven experience in a senior management or specialized HR / IR role
- Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated team management experience
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvemen t and data-driven decision-making
