Sales Consultant
Our client, a leader in the manufacture, distribution, and provisioning of innovative packaging, is looking for a Sales Consultant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, specifically approaching manufacturing companies. Please do not apply if you have no experience approaching manufacturers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing customers by profiling and exploring value-added applications within the accounts.
- Align industries in the manufacturing sector with our current successes.
- Adopt and implement our sales process regarding research, lead input, and transitioning customers to planner activity.
- Set up constructive appointments for value-based discussions.
- Populate the pipeline platform and drive opportunities to their natural conclusion to generate revenue growth for the company.
- Be motivated, self-driven, and prepared for intensive sales functions that will contribute to sales growth.
- Develop reporting and monitoring mechanisms to highlight competitor activities, both local and international, and market movements to Sales and Management.
- Analyze market potentials, track sales, and prepare status reports.
- Meet and exceed sales budgets (volume & revenue).
- Establish, promote, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Comply with the company’s planning, reporting, and customer management structures as determined by management.
- Assist with the quarterly Stock Stake.
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum of three years’ sales experience in the industrial sector.At least a matric pass + Higher Education.Must have own vehicle, cellphone, and laptop.Knowledge of the Syspro System and / or a similar ERP system.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Good verbal communication skills with relevant key points.Ability to construct relevant structured reports.Sales skills, including CRM or sales process experience.Self-confident while remaining composed under pressure.Expressive and passionate about committed tasks / projects / products.Ability to effectively interact with all levels of customer interaction (from buyers to production / maintenance staff to operational managers and senior management).Effective listening skills to extract specifics in problems and solutions.Inherent ability to develop lasting personal relationships.Ability to work as part of a team and contribute accordingly.Prospecting / Business Development experience.Ability to prioritize tasks / workload.Capability to take control (inception to analysis) of product / process trials.Ability to prepare ahead of tasks (research / analysis).#J-18808-Ljbffr
