Minimum Qualification / Requirements :

Minimum Grade 12

Qualified Earthmoving equipment Mechanic (Red Seal / Trade Test)

Valid Driver’s License - Code 10 / 14

5 years’ experience as a Field Service Mechanic Diesel Mechanic

Pre-employment medical required

Computer Literate

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not) :

Always maintain professional workmanship standards

Strictly adhere to applicable Quality Assurance Processes & Procedures

Have knowledge of engines, hydraulics pneumatics, undercarriage and auto electrical.

Repair loaders dumpers excavators’ trucks & LDV’s within specification and agreed repair times

Ensure complete, accurate and timeous job card feedback and repair reports

Conduct troubleshooting, Fault Diagnosis and do RCA on failures

Perform machine inspections on vehicles and compile backlog lists

Coordinate assistants to carried out first line of maintenance tasks

Pro-actively support & participate in safety & work practice related initiatives.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with the applicable policy & prescriptions.

Keeping own working area clean, tidy & presentable always

Managing & maintaining tooling in good, serviceable condition.
