Job descriptionMatric (High School Diploma) or equivalent. Relevant Trade Certificate as a Millwright or Electrician. Minimum 2 years’ hands-on maintenance experience (industrial setting preferred). Refrigeration experience is advantageous. Packhouse experience will be a definite plus. Proven ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical and electrical systems.
- Carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Follow maintenance schedules rigorously to ensure top equipment performance.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards in all maintenance activities.
- Assist with installation and setup of new machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to boost operational efficiencies.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs.
