Senior Bookkeeper - Meyerton

SUMMARY

Manufacturing company situated in the Meyerton area is urgently looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full bookkeeping function up to TRIAL BALANCE
• Manage & Reconcile General Ledger Accounts
• Process supplier & customer invoices, credit notes, and payments
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns
• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Monitor & analyze manufacturing costs, variances, & margins
• Work closely with production & procurement teams to ensure accurate BOM costing
• Utilize Evolution BOM or Xperdyte to manage & report on production & inventory data
• Assist with year-end audits & liaise with external auditors
• Implement & maintain internal controls & financial procedures
