Job descriptionSchedule service appointments to optimise workshop productivity. Liaise with technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time. Confirm availability of required parts before scheduled bookings. Create and manage detailed service orders and repair documentation. Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records, including warranty and service history. Process invoices and payments accurately and promptly. Ensure that all work performed meets the brand’s high-quality standards. Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds loyalty and trust. Address customer complaints professionally, escalating when necessary. Stay informed about the latest vehicle models, features, and service promotions. Promote additional products and services that enhance customer value. Work closely with the service, parts, and sales departments to ensure operational efficiency. Report on service department performance and customer satisfaction trends. At least 2 years’ experience in a service or customer-facing role (automotive dealership experience advantageous). Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite). Valid driver’s license and own transport. A technical qualification will be beneficial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service excellence and problem-solving ability. Motivation to achieve results and perform under pressure. Organised, resilient, and team-oriented.
Overview
A leading luxury automotive dealership in Stellenbosch is seeking a Service Advisor to join its dynamic aftersales team. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for customers booking vehicle services and maintenance, ensuring a seamless and premium experience from start to finish. This position requires strong communication skills, technical understanding, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service within a high-end automotive environment.
Responsibilities

- Greet customers professionally and assess their vehicle service requirements.
- Provide accurate quotations for maintenance and repair work.
- Clearly explain technical issues and service recommendations in customer-friendly terms.
- Keep customers informed on progress, timelines, and any cost adjustments.
- Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
