Adaptability and decisiveness Maintaining the nature of sensitive or confidential information Good verbal and written communication skills Professional, friendly disposition Be able to work independently and a good team player Understand, read and write English Continuous preparation of Compliance Audits (Global Gap and add-ons, SIZA Social, SIZA Environmental) Ensure the farm complies with local, national, and international regulations. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the agricultural sector. Carbon Footprint Calculations Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints. Data capturing on Excel and Intranet for trend analysis Training records IODs Sanitation Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify potential compliance risks Prepare and submit compliance reports to management Arrange and chair meetings (health & safety, employment equity, and workers committee) PhytClean Registrations Collaborate with various departments to ensure overall compliance. PPE Management (Purchasing and issuing)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Preference given to qualifications in either Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety and Compliance
- Proven 3+ Years experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with the agricultural or farming industry is an advantage.
- Valid drivers license.
