Occupational Health Nurse

Exciting new role has opened up with a national manufacturing concern for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse.

Duties would include ensuring that all necessary health and safety programs / services are available to staff. This role will focus on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards.

Incumbent would be expected to travel to branches nationally.

Requirements :

• Proven work experience as an Occupational Health Practitioner
• Registered Nurse with SANC registration
• A dispensing licence is compulsory
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation
• Good organisational skills, the ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that an efficient service is delivered
• Client service skills, active listening skills, sensitivity and understanding, pay attention to detail
• Good communication skills (writing and verbal)
• Work well under pressure
• Drivers licence
