Overview

2026 Graduate Civil Engineer : Highways and Rail role at WSP in Africa. Join at Midrand Head Office or Cape Town Office. Grow your career in civil engineering with exposure to transport infrastructure projects, including pavement design, geometric road layouts, rail systems, and traffic / transport planning. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, technical excellence, and continuous development.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the delivery of civil engineering designs across multidisciplinary transport infrastructure projects.
Focus on areas such as pavement design, geometric road layouts, rail systems, and traffic engineering.
Apply modern BIM workflows to support efficient and coordinated project execution.
Develop and manage models using Revit, Civil 3D and other digital tools.
Ensure all deliverables meet the company’s ISO-certified quality standards.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical input during design reviews and site progress monitoring.

Qualifications / Key Competencies

Ability to deliver on challenging projects with tight timelines; attention to accuracy and quality of drawings.

Commitment to delivering excellent service and good communication.
