Branch Manager

Job descriptionOversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of services. Coordinate and optimize the use of resources, including vehicles, personnel and equipment. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure and accident-free work environment. Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and accountability. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services. Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with the sales team to secure new clients. Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner. Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and costsaving opportunities. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and invoicing processes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high service standards. Conduct regular audits to assess and improve operational efficiency.
Location : Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
Requirements : Please note if you do not have roadfreight and logistics management experience your application will not be considered
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field an advantage.
- Proven experience in road freight and logistics management, with at least 5-10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Must have experience in the roadfreight and logistics industry (non-negotiable)
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
