Overview
Content Manager – EdTech Startup
Help us lead the future of conversational learning in Africa. We're pioneering conversational learning at scale in Africa, where mobile phones are often the primary gateway to education. We’re looking for someone who can help us shape how thousands of learners engage with content on the platform they use most - WhatsApp. Your work will directly impact whether they stay engaged and achieve real outcomes that change lives. If you want to work at the intersection of pedagogy, technology, and user experience - where creativity meets data and strategy meets execution, and where you\'re genuinely building the future of accessible education in Africa, this is for you!
What You\'ll Actually Do
You'll be the bridge between "here\'s what learners need to know" and "here\'s how we make that happen" on our WhatsApp learning platform that\'s currently reaching hundreds of thousands of learners across Africa. That means
Making sure it works (and keeps working)
Monitor performance analytics and learner feedback like a detective looking for clues. Use that data to develop content optimisation processes and strategy. Own quality assurance across all content, like accuracy, tone, pedagogy, brand consistency, the works. Optimise relentlessly based on what the data and learners are telling you.
Keeping the engine running smoothly
Organise and maintain back-end content systems (folders, CMS, dashboards) so nothing ever gets lost. Coordinate with tech and content teams to get content uploaded and published seamlessly. Manage post-learning engagement loops - WhatsApp groups, social channels, wherever learners are continuing the conversation.
