Presales Engineer Anywhere in SA

Introduction

Our client, a UK based software company who targets manufacturing businesses in the US or EMEA, is looking for a Sales Representative to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

The company employs 50 staff members across 3 offices globally, offering MES with machine connectivity and cutting-edge software integrations. They enable businesses to transform their operations and streamline processes, serving clients in over 30 countries, from small machine shops to Fortune 500 giants.

Desired Experience & Qualification

You will work remotely from South Africa while targeting international clients. Responsibilities include building calling lists and conducting 200 cold calls per week, sending emails and LinkedIn messages, with the goal of achieving 20-30 sales meetings booked for the Account Executive Team. If you speak a second European language besides English, please let us know as this will be helpful.

Requirements :

• It will be ideal if you have sold industrial software like CAD, CAM, ERP, MRP, or MES, but it is not essential.
• You must have some business-to-business sales experience (at least 1 year), including cold calling and sourcing new business.
• You must have a completed University Degree in Mechanical Engineering (non-negotiable requirement).

Package & Remuneration

Offer : You will earn a basic salary of R25,000 to R30,000. Commission is paid in dollars and will be $300-500 per signed deal that originated from your sales opportunity. The sales cycle (depending on deal size, segment) is 2-9 months. You will be provided with a company laptop capable of making international calls. You must provide your own stable Wi-Fi connection with a load-shedding backup. You will work with a time tracker that captures screenshots to monitor your work.
