Production Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic Production Manager to join their team. This role involves overseeing the entire production process, coordinating all activities and operations to ensure manufacturing runs efficiently. The Production Manager will ensure that quality standards are met and customer deadlines are achieved.

Requirements

• Education : Secondary Education : Grade 12; Tertiary Education : NQF6 in Production Management / Operations Management.
• Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in a Production Manager role in the manufacturing industry.
• Competencies : Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

Implement production schedules to meet customer demands.

Manage subordinates in line with company policies, procedures, and industry agreements.

Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and practices.

Apply site-specific food safety principles and standards.

Apply company quality principles and standards.

Complete all reports and administrative tasks related to the position.

Ensure the team knows what to do and where to find information in your absence.

Assess strengths and development areas and take actions to address weaknesses.

Carry out any other tasks as management requires based on operational needs.

Salary

R500 000 CTC
