Production Manger - Table Grapes

Minimum Requirement

• Grade 12 and Agricultural qualification
• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in similar position
• Experience with staff management
• Experience with the following :
• Manages irrigation programmes
• Manages fertilizer programmes
• Manages pest control programmes
• Manages weed and fungus control programmes
• Estimates harvest per hectar
• Monitors use of and knows how to use farming equipment and machinery
• Supervises all steps of the production process including planting, fertilizing, harvesting and packing
• Supervises, checks and corrects work
• Reads and plans work programmes
• Manages time and attendance
• Own transport and valid Drivers License
• Must be able to speak African language
