QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED :
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource and Industrial Psychology or equivalent
- Recognition is given to Prior Learning and practical experience
Experience needed to deliver the role seamlessly :
5+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleProven success in scaling hiring operations and leading recruitment teamsExperience in employer branding, DEI initiatives, and recruitment marketingExperience in Project ManagementHealthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry experience is highly advantageous.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :
Core Technical Delivery :
Design and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business goalsManage full-cycle recruitment : sourcing, screening, interviewing, pre-employment assessments selection, and onboardingEffective and comprehensive management of the recruitment budgetLead and develop a high-performing recruitment teamCollaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelinesDrive employer branding and candidate engagement initiativesMonitor recruitment KPIs and optimize processes for efficiency and qualityEnsure compliance with labour laws, data protection regulations, and internal policiesPromote inclusive hiring practices and support DEI goalsManage vendor relationships (e.g., agencies, job boards, background check providers)Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready recruitment recordsProficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Mantal and WamlyAdvanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter)Recruitment analytics, metrics and dashboard reporting (Excel, Power BI, or HR analytics tools)Familiarity with HRIS platforms and CRM toolsExperience with recruitment marketing and employer branding toolsKnowledge of labour legislation (e.g. EEA, SDA, LRA, BCEA, POPIA) and compliance standardsPeople Management
Align departmental focus areas and outputs to the business’s objectivesConduct business, cross functional and departmental planning and execute activities within own scope of accountability.Adequate capacity planning and performance delivery in line with strategic, tactical and operational plansRole profiling, goal setting and performance management of managers and staff within the department.Develop and implement a knowledge management infrastructure within the department to ensure Intellectual Property is effectively maintainedDevelop growth, succession & retention of departmental talent.Accountability for own and team's personal and professional learning & development to ensure technical and leadership bench strength within the departmentEnsure accurate delegation of ongoing operational activities and in the event of key staff members’ absence.Conduct effective employee relations in accordance with labour legislation, company policies and procedures and address any performance and conduct concerns and risks timeously.Application Deadline : 10 November 2025
