Job descriptionNational Diploma Health and Safety Management NEBOSH, IOSH 5 to 6 years\' experience as Health and Safety Officer Own transport essential Must reside within a radius of not more than 20km from Alberton Will be required to be on site early from time to time to do toolbox talks and also later for shift change at 16h45 Facilitate accredited OHS training programmes in accordance with SETA and NQF requirements. Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools. Conduct learner assessments, provide feedback, and maintain training records. Promote a culture of safety and compliance within training environments. Stay updated on current OHS legislation, regulations, and industry standards. A minimum of NQF Level 5 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a closely related field. At least 3 years of practical work experience in the Occupational Health and Safety discipline. Registered with a recognised Occupational Health and Safety professional body. Proven experience in facilitation, learner assessment, and training delivery. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. HSE Strategy & Leadership : Design, implement, and lead comprehensive health, safety, and environmental systems across all developments. Safety Culture & Compliance : Champion ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification, embedding a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility. Sustainable Operations : Set the standard for safe, sustainable practices across all business units, ensuring alignment with Calgro M3\'s values. Develop and roll out our group-wide Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy. Lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification and recertification processes. Champion a proactive safety culture, conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. Ensure compliance with South African OHS Act, construction regulations, and environmental laws. Drive innovation through digitalisation and automation of HSE reporting. Mentor and coach managers and supervisors on safety leadership. Deliver impactful training programmes to enhance safety awareness and accountability. Promote sustainable practices, environmental stewardship, and worker wellbeing. To manage the cleaning, sanitation, hygiene and pest control contracts effectively. To manage product safety and quality through AIB, FSSC 22000 and HACCP systems, ensuring site compliance. To manage the Allergen Control Program for the site To manage and improve the site\'s HACCP Program. Conduct Food Safety Training and Inductions for site personnel To Manage the site\'s micro environmental monitoring programme Identify Health Risks inherent to work activities Conduct pre-employment, periodical, transfer and exit medical examinations Emergency Medical Services : provide immediate emergency services and manage emergency equipment Provide Primary Health Care services and manage medical investigations and ill-health cases Drug control program and stock management Administration, record keeping and statistical reporting Stakeholder relationship management
