Hollowcore Site Foreman

We are looking for a full-time Hollowcore Site Installer / Foreman to join our team, based just outside Durbanville.

The role involves leading a team in the installation of precast hollowcore slabs. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the placement of cut-to-size precast elements onto structural walls on-site, working with a crane.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the members of the team in performing the activities necessary
• Problem solving on a daily basis on site
• Perform administrative tasks
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are adhered to
• Coach & assist team members in the correct execution of their work activities
• Manage time control and commitment
• Plan and organise labour and machines
• Be able to read a plan lay out
• Well organised

Requirements

In return you will get a market related salary; become member of a provident fund; annual shut down in December during builder’s holiday. Working hours are from 7 : 00 to 17 : 30, but only until 15 : 00 on a Friday. With your work ethic and sober habits, you will fit our team. You must be an RSA citizen with no criminal record.
