POSITION INFO:
A well-established organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its team in Pretoria East. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process monthly journals and account reconciliations. Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate financial records. Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting. Support VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance requirements. Assist with tax-related calculations and submissions. Ensure financial reporting complies with accounting standards and company policies. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances. Assist with audit requirements and supporting documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement within the finance function Job Experience and Skills Required: Accounting or related Finance Degree. Completed or currently completing SAICA or SAIPA articles. 0-2 years' accounting experience. Strong understanding of General Ledger, reconciliations, VAT, tax, and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with MDA or MRI systems advantageous. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Eagerness to learn, develop, and grow within a finance career. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
