Education: BEng qualification or higher in: Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Control Systems Engineering Computer Science Engineering Job Experience & Skills Required: Experience delivering industrial automation and control system projects Strong PLC programming experience SCADA development and configuration experience Ability to understand project scope, deliverables, and technical requirements Assist with project planning, task development, and effort estimation Implement and commission automation and system integration solutions Develop accurate technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and functional descriptions Experience with industrial system integration and automation technologies Strong technical report-writing skills Knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project Ability to identify project risks and communicate variations effectively Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills Experience working on-site during commissioning and project execution phases Ability to maintain high engineering quality standards and compliance with company procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams Commitment to continuous technical development and learning. Advantageous Skills: Exposure to Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions Experience with Historian and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Knowledge of industrial IT networks and cybersecurity Understanding of energy management and efficiency systems Procurement and risk management experience Familiarity with leading automation platforms and OEM technologies Technical leadership experience on complex automation projects Strong customer-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
