Sales Executive

Earn commission for life, and from Rand one, in this exciting role. A growing, and long-standing local logistics business is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Executive to join their team in the East Rand.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who understands the international courier and logistics environment and has a proven ability to generate new business.

The business operates within the international courier and mail sector, supporting customers with solutions that include international and domestic courier services, bulk mail, e-commerce mail and distribution into international markets.

With a strong focus on parcels and e-commerce, this role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse and commercially driven customer base.

Duties:

• Drive new business development across the international courier, domestic courier, mail and logistics sectors.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across South Africa, including SADC and international markets.
• Develop and maintain strong B2B relationships with new and existing customers.
• Leverage an established industry network and client base to generate new business and revenue.
• Sell international and domestic courier solutions, cross-border distribution, SADC services and international mail solutions.
• Target businesses within the e-commerce, freight, logistics, courier and distribution sectors.
• Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline from prospecting through to successful conversion.
• Conduct client visits and travel as required to develop and secure new business.
• Achieve agreed individual revenue targets and contribute towards the continued growth of the business.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years sales experience within a courier and distribution company (non-negotiable).
• An established and relevant client base or industry network that can be developed into new business.
• A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
