Senior Accountant

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional who is ready to take ownership of the full accounting function and contribute to a high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full finance and accounting function
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage general ledger, journals and reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analysis
• Manage cash flow and support working capital management
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
• Assist with audit processes and provide supporting schedules
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure accurate reporting
• Provide financial insights and support management with decision-making

Requirements

• Completed CA(SA)
• 23 years' commercial experience post articles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
