Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions and financial transactions
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes
• Prepare journals, accruals and financial adjustments
• Analyse financial information and provide meaningful insights
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Com Accounting or equivalent
• Completed SAIPA or AGA articles would be advantageous
• Completed articles with 12 years post-articles experience
• High-volume industry experience preferred
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
