POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Financial Projects Manager to join a growing, forward-thinking organisation. This role is suited to a commercially minded professional who can combine technical expertise with strategy, process optimisation, project delivery and stakeholder engagement . Working closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders across the business, you'll lead finance-related projects from inception through implementation, helping improve processes, strengthen controls, enhance reporting and support strategic business objectives. This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional finance and play a key role in shaping a more efficient, effective and future-focused finance function. Candidate Profile qualification is essential, together with a relevant Finance, Accounting or Commerce degree. Minimum 3 years' Financial Management experience , with a further 3 years' exposure to finance transformation, business improvement, process optimisation, financial controls or project-focused finance environments. Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders. Strong knowledge of financial governance, controls, risk management and financial reporting. Commercially minded, analytical and solutions-focused, with strong project management and change leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic finance transformation and business improvement projects from planning through to implementation. Identify opportunities to optimise, standardise and automate finance processes, including supporting systems and technology enhancements. Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management while supporting audit processes and the implementation of recommendations. Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support executive decision-making, profitability and long-term business objectives. Partner with finance, operational and executive stakeholders to deliver projects, manage change and foster continuous improvement. What Makes This Opportunity Different?
