This is a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant role for someone who wants more than ticking and tying youll have real ownership across the finance function and play a key role in strengthening processes as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the full financial accounting function
- Drive month-end close and management reporting
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage debtors, creditors and cash flow
- Oversee VAT and statutory compliance
- Analyse financial performance and variances
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and financial planning
- Strengthen financial controls and processes
- Support annual financial statements and external audits
- Provide commercial insights to management
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting / Finance
- 46 years relevant financial accounting experience
- Strong full-function accounting exposure
- Solid month-end and management reporting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP/accounting system experience
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable taking ownership and working in a growing business
