It emphasizes preventative action, regularly monitoring system health, conducting maintenance, and identifying potential failures before they impact operations. This role is strictly on-site and involves hands-on IT infrastructure tasks with no remote or phone-based support. The goal is system stability : minimize downtime, ensure optimal performance of all IT assets, and maintain business continuity in our security monitoring command center. While remote network engineers manage firewalls, switches, and network configurations, this System Administrator will primarily focus on managing the IT environment locally, ensuring PCs, workstations, servers, and IT hardware are fully functional at all times. This is not an end-user IT support role; troubleshooting may be required, but the main responsibility is actively managing and maintaining IT infrastructure rather than responding to user requests. Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills are required to address potential failures before they become major issues.
