UI / UX Designer I (Contract)

Our client is looking for a creative and user-focused UI / UX Designer to join our team and help shape intuitive, engaging digital experiences. You’ll be responsible for designing interfaces that communicate our brand effectively and enrich the customer journey across products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design compelling visual artifacts including wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and storyboards.
• Develop and maintain design elements and specifications aligned with the design system.
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create user flows, interaction models, and screen designs that optimize user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Advocate for the end-user throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Align design solutions with business goals, technical constraints, and UX metrics.
• Stay updated on UI / UX trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure consistency in design patterns and principles across platforms.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team growth and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency

Figma , Sketch , Adobe XD , InVision , Axure

HTML / CSS (basic understanding)

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
