Experience
- At least a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in mining, construction, petrochemicals, or power generation industry
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering or QS qualification is preferred.Other directly related tertiary qualifications maybe consideredStrong negotiation, problem-solving, and discretion skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software (e.g., MS Projects, CCS and / or Primavera).Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and navigate constraints.Analytical mindset, including financial analysis abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Responsibilities
Prepare tenders and formal submissions in line with job specifications and client requirementsBuild and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.Monitor performance using key metrics and identify new commercial opportunities.Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.Be involved in marketing efforts.Attend clarification meetings as needed.Analyse tender results, conduct risk analysis, and facilitate continuous improvement.Follow up on submitted bids to generate new and repeat business.Arrange alignment meetings with operational staff to communicate tender approaches.Conduct a post-mortem analysis on completed projects / contractsStay updated on market trends and conditions, exploring potential new services and offerings.Effectively manage client relationships, acquire new customers, and understand customer requirements.Fulfil any other duties assigned at your management level.
