Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and operational financial reports
• Take ownership of reporting accuracy across revenue, costs, margins, profitability, cash flow, and working capital
• Analyse business performance against budgets, forecasts, and operational targets
• Translate financial results into clear and actionable insights on trends, risks, opportunities, and business performance
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across multiple business units
• Partner with operational leaders to enhance profitability, improve efficiencies, and strengthen cost management initiatives
• Provide financial input into pricing strategies, contract negotiations, tenders, and client profitability assessments
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and compliance standards
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and enhanced reporting capabilities
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and broader operational finance activities
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:

• CA(SA) Designation Non-negotiable

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience within an operational and/or commercial finance environment
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling expertise
• Proven ability to partner effectively with operational stakeholders and executive leadership teams
• Sound understanding of profitability analysis, working capital management, and cost optimisation
• Demonstrated success in improving financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Commercially astute with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
