Business Process Automation Developer

Our client in the IT industry is looking for a Business Process Automation Developer to join their dynamic team!

Description

The primary purpose of this role is to be a developer as part of the Business Process Automation (BPA) team. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Director of Information Technology and Digital Transformation to understand project requirements – as dictated by business needs – then work towards solutions to satisfy those needs. New technologies will be vetted through thorough research of the given technology, as well as conceptual implementations and proof of concepts, together with thorough documentation and best practice guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, test and implement software solutions within the company.
  2. Internal and external client support.
  3. Writing and implementing quality and high-performing code.
  4. Development, maintenance, and implementation of software tools, processes, and procedures.
  5. Research and development.
  6. Testing and evaluating new technologies.
  7. Identification of areas of improvement.
  8. Assist with peer review and code reviews.
  9. Collaboration with developers from other teams to implement the best solutions possible.
  10. Document software processes and solutions.
  11. Following strict source control procedures.
  12. Measurement and reporting of benefits gained through the use of solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Power Automate knowledge.
  2. C#.
  3. MS SQL Server.
  4. Microsoft Power Platform (advantageous).
  5. UiPath (advantageous).
  6. BSc/BCom in Computer Science or equivalent.
  7. A minimum of 3 or more years of experience required.
  8. Strong programming, business analysis, and administrative skills.
  9. Logistics & Supply Chain experience (advantageous).
  10. The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English is a must. Other languages could prove useful.
  11. Good verbal and written communication.
