Software Sales Executive

  • Salary : R10,000 p / m + Commission
  • Location : Virtual (Preference for Durban-based candidates, but not required)

  • HubSpot CRM solutions
  • Secure WordPress website hosting
  • Email Signature Software

    Key Responsibilities :

    As a Software Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Digitlab’s sales strategy by :

  • Building New Business : Finding and pursuing new client opportunities through cold calling, networking, and outreach.
  • Owning the Sales Process : Managing all sales cycle stages, from qualifying leads to closing deals and onboarding clients.
  • Showcasing Product Value : Clearly articulating the benefits of HubSpot, WordPress hosting, and Email Signature software to align with client needs.
  • Driving Revenue : Achieving sales targets, generating renewable income, and ensuring client satisfaction for long-term partnerships.

    What We're Looking For

    We’re looking for driven individuals ready to take on the challenge of building our sales team and driving results. The ideal candidate will have :

  • Experience : 2–5 years in software sales or a similar field, with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Technical Know-How : A strong understanding of MarTech or SaaS products and the ability to convey their value to clients.
  • Hunter Mindset : A proactive approach to generating leads, building pipelines, and exceeding sales goals.
  • Location Flexibility : Preferably Durban-based, but virtual applicants from anywhere are welcome.
  • Personal Attributes : Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
  • Key Competencies :

  • A ‘hunter’ attitude with self-starter determination
  • A deal closer
  • Professional sales image
  • Extreme attention to detail and well-organized
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • HubSpot working knowledge is preferable as this will be the CRM you will use to sell and report on.
  • Knowledge of inbound and outbound sales practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
